He is one of the most well known actors on the silver screen.
But Kevin Hart certainly could not act his way through daddy day.
The 38-year-old comedian took to Instagram on Thursday to document his hilarious babysitting tale as his wife Eniko Parrish ran errands.
The A-lister was left alone with his three kids: Heaven, 12, Hendrix, 10, and one-month-old Kenzo, along with the two Dobermans: Roxy and Riggs.
‘The wife left me home with the babies and dogs for a couple [of] hours by myself,’ Hart recalled in his Instagram story. ‘Thank God she’s back.’
He went on to tell his 56 million followers that he had it all under control…until he didn’t.
‘The baby started crying, so I went up and I grabbed the baby,” he said. ‘I fed the baby, changed the baby’s diaper … then out of nowhere, the dogs started barking. Come to find out my dogs got outside. Not really sure how — my big Doberman opened the g–damned door.’
As Kevin called for his two older kids—Heaven, 12, and Hendrix, 10, to come and help out, he realized that they’re plugged in to their virtual-reality headsets and can’t hear him.
‘I had to put the baby down in the crib so I could go get the dogs. Soon as I put the baby down, the baby started crying,’ the Philadelphia native said. ‘I somehow hit my foot on the rocking chair, twist my ankle. Ouch.’
With a twisted ankle he managed to wrangle the dogs back inside, but not before knocking over the Diaper Genie on his way out of the nursery.
‘S*** got real. I go grab the dogs, the baby’s crying still … gotta go grab the baby. At the same time I go inside the room and knock the VR set right off my damn kids’ heads,’ the comedian explained.
‘They said, ‘What’d we do?’ I said, ‘Nothing, man. Dad just had a mini breakdown. Y’all turn the volume down on that s— so you can hear me next time I call you.’
It's probably safe to say that this wasn't the first nor the last daddy meltdown narrated by Hart on social media.
