It was only last week that revealed he felt ready to embark on a relationship with a man.
But Aaron Carter, who came out as bisexual in August, has now set his sights on actress Chloe Moretz after she confessed her childhood crush on him.
The singer, 30, said he would happily take the Carrie star, 20, on a date, after admitting the crush was 'mutual' - despite her romance with Brooklyn Beckham.
However, when asked if the offer of the date still stands this week, the I Want Candy hitmaker admitted he was more than willing to give it a go, despite Chloe's public new relationship.
He told Us Weekly: 'Well, she said something about me. 'And I was just like, 'Yo, look. If you want to go on a date, it will be a good one.''
The Kick-Ass star had revealed her soft spot for Aaron over the summer, and confessed she used to fight with her friends over who would date him in the future.
She told Variety: 'When I was 4 years old, I thought Aaron Carter was so cool. My friend - when we were both little babies back in Georgia --she liked Aaron Carter, too.
'We used to fight over who would get Aaron Carter one day. Who knows? Maybe we'll meet.
Aaron had then responded by reciprocating the feelings on Twitter, and asking her out on a date in front of his 647,000 followers.
He wrote: 'Hey @ChloeGMoretz - let's set up a date. The crush is mutual. Mmmm may I take you to dinner @ChloeGMoretz? (sic)'
However, it seems Aaron may have been too late with his affection, as Chloe has since rekindled her romance with Brooklyn, the son of footballer David and designer Victoria.
'I just started talking about it, really. I have my confusions and I'm still learning about the community.'
The former teen idol went onto admit he feels ready for a romance with another man, explaining:
'Who knows what the future has to bring, whether it's a relationship with a guy, I don't have a problem with that. It's something that I've already thought about for the album after this one. It's already been thought through.'
Aaron recently revealed he wants to adopt a child and says his ultimate 'goal' in life is to become a father.
