Amelle Berrabah is pregnant with her first child with ex Sugababes singer revealing the happy news in cute post on Christmas Day

The 33-year-old singer revealed her happy news on Christmas Day (25 Dec 2017) by teasing her Twitter followers that she's "eating for two" now.

Alongside a photograph of a plate packed with roasted parsnips and all the trimmings, she wrote: "Hope everyone had a great Christmas! Ate so much but then again, I'm eating for 2... so I get a pass!"

But former Sugababe Amelle didn't let the binge stop her from exercising on Boxing day, and used the holiday to burn off the grub.

She added: "Just did a very light workout and stretch... now it's time to go eat some good food. Mumma's hungry!"

The blonde beauty doesn't know what she's having yet with her husband Marcio Sousa Rosa but happily chatted to fans about her blossoming bump.

When asked if it's a girl or a boy, she added: "I'm about 3 months so don't know yet.

Amelle – who moved to Los Angeles to follow her acting dream after leaving Sugababes – said last year that she wasn't "ready" for kids, although she loves babies.

"I love babies, I love kids. I would definitely like to have them in the future but I'm not ready yet. I'm too busy with my career but I would like to have them."

The couple wed in Mauritius just six days after Marcio asked her to marry him during a trip to the exotic island in October 2014.
However, not long after reports suggested their marriage had hit the rocks and she was forced to hit back, insisting they were still "happily married".
